 Hidden field in single page subfile?
hi ,  When we open subfile source by using 2 or 5 option then hidden fiedl defination is like that?

WWRRN       R   H        REFFLD(........ like that.........)

there is no any position means defined at record format level.

but when I'm tryung to find out that hidden field by uasing 17 option, I can't find it.   how we can see that field by using 17, 12 opetion.

I assume that you mean you are using PDM option 17 to run the SDA utility. Then you’re using option 12 in SDA to view an image of a record format on the screen.

At that time, your “hidden” fields are not visible.

Because “hidden” fields are not shown on a display, they are always ‘not visible’ when you look at a record image. Hidden fields aren’t part of an image.

CharlieBrowne’s suggestion to use F4 on the image display is correct. The F4 key brings up the ‘Work With Fields’ function and allows you to work with the field definitions instead of working with the image. You could also press F1 to see the ‘help’ for the image display — the F4 key is listed in the ‘help’.
