 hey, I do COBOL on the iSeries, lol
AS/400
Where have all the COBOL programmers gone on the iSeries?? I have programmed in RPG (6+ years) but prefer COBOL any day of the week. Rarely see any questions and tips in the COBOL arena. Just curious and willing to teach anyone COBOL. Want to move to Florida?

I work on the iseries...and I do program in RPGLE and COBOL/400...I'm currently located in Naugatuck,CT....and what is the question "Want to move to florida?" all about..???? ======================================================== COBOL is alive and well, accounting for maybe 20% of AS/400 programming. However, although "RPG" has few gathering places around the internet, COBOL has many forums of excellent quality. The disparity you see in sites like this one simply from the high number of alternatives. Tom ====================================================================== Here at the State of New Hampshire we have 3 i5's, all production development is done in Cobol. Still alive and well. Bill
