Help with URL showing in the address bar on the web in Lotus Notes

Hi-
I have a lotus notes application that opens from a website. After it opens, the name of my database is in the address bar of the website, which is fine, but when I try and go to another URL in the database -by using a hotsport URL - the address does not change to the new URL. For example, if my website is http://www.MyExample/Root/index.html, and from there I link to my notes database, which shows in the address bar http://notes.MyNotesPage/NotesDatabaseName/MyNotesDatabase.nsf, then I click on a hotspot which has the original address as the URL value - http://www.MyExample/Root/index.html - it goes to the correct original home page, but still shows http://notes.MyNotesPage/NotesDatabaseName/MyNotesDatabase.nsf in the address bar. On my database properties - I have "when opened in browser, open designated frameset" checked.
Can anyone help?

It sounds like maybe your hotspot should have a target of "_top".
