I am entering seminar selection data for 600 students and i have a spreadsheet with names and id numbers. there are 20 seminars that they may attend and they have "ranked" them 1-20. I would i have a data entry sheet with a VLOOKUP that will find the student (on the second sheet) and display the current choices. Now I want to send the data back (after modifying the list) back to the original spreadsheet and overwrite the results. Can someone help me with the Macro Logic for this update routine? Layout would be: Student Id - Choice 1 - Choice 2 - ... choice 20. Again i can read the results spreadsheet using VLOOKUP and display the current results, but i can't figure out how to write changes back.
