Help configuring Linkys wireless router with Paradyne ADSL modem, its fine with modem but with wireless router I cannot access network.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the IP addresses, do I have to manualy clone the IP. What protocol to to picked, PPPeE or DHCP ?? do I need to enter user id & PW for router.
