What does WFC do and why is it always running on my Android phone if it is for Windows? How can I stop and delete it? It seems to be running in many apps.

WFC Service is for wi-fi calling. Are you having problem with other apps not working or was this just a general question. IF you want more on the topic of wi-fi calling check out this link

What model/manufacturer of your Android phone? Probably Wi-Fi calling is enabled in settings. You can disable/enable as per your choice. However more information is needed.

    "...if it is for Windows?"

Your answer is in there. What makes you think it is only "for windows"? WFC for Android is for Android. Are you sure you want it disabled (removed)?

Try navigating to All Applications and looking for WFC Service. If you find it, you should be able to disable it there.

Otherwise, you might provide your phone model, your carrier and your Android version. A different procedure might be needed.
