Hi, I noticed your message, did you get any luck with this?
We have Power6 520, and have maxed out on our DASD, could anyone tell me
installing VMAX 1.0 as a SAN to iSeries as storage solution? The LUNS
are already created and it need just to configure. Any guidance and
docs?

OS400 The OS400 tag would indicate an old (and effectively obsolete) system. You should be up to at least i5/OS before this becomes truly feasible. What is your actual setup? What model system do you have and what is your OS version/release? Older systems may be possible depending on some details. Tom

    This depends on the model #. In our case, we have a 9406-810 connecting to the EMC SAN by: Text . . . . . . . . . . . . : Disk Storage Controller Type-model . . . . . . . . . : 2787-001 Part number . . . . . . . . : 0000000P4339 and a 9406-520 with: Text . . . . . . . . . . . . : Disk Storage Controller Type-model . . . . . . . . . : 280E-001 Part number . . . . . . . . : 0000003N5016 An EMC salesman (yeah, I know) should be able to find a tech resource to help with this.
