		<description><![CDATA[If I read your message above correctly, you are getting no display at all when booting either normally OR into safe mode in WinXP.  Am I correct?

Can you see anything when an external monitor is attached to the PC (CRT, LCD monitor or compatible TV display)?  If so, boot into WinXP (not safe mode) with the external display attached and DELETE YOUR VIDEO CARD (DISPLAY ADAPTER) AND MONITOR from Device Manager.  This should change the video to a default VGA or SVGA (640x480 or 800x600) display upon reboot.  You should then be able to re-install the appropriate video drivers from here:  

http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=xp/mobility-xp

You may also wish to install the Hydravision drivers if you are going to be using multiple monitors, especially if using the &quot;extended desktop&quot; feature.
