Prior to 4.3.3 ML_8, you would have to run a suite of commands to get you all the info you need. After, try this:

# prtconf

That one single command will give you all the info you need and more about any RS6000 or pSeries server, including processor, memory and disk. This is one of the few worthwhile things that IBM has taken from Sun, as this command has been around in the Solaris world forever, but not known to many an AIX administator.
