Maybe. But you won't find out by asking here. It's not appropriate to discuss such techniques. -- Tom

When you say HACKING, then you are saying something that is probably illegal.

Is there a business purpose behind your inquiry?

Well, I won't call it illegal. It's an email account of somebody who just died. He used my pc and so the URL got saved. Opening the account could answer the questions of his family. But then again, all I have is the URL so I don't if that can help.

The appropriate action is to have legal representatives for the family contact Hotmail administrators. There's no guarantee that access will be granted, but it's the legal direction to take. -- Tom

The URL alone won't help.  Sorry.

I'd recommend contacting Microsoft and see if they let you in.
