Hi, I have a Win2k DC with Exchange Srv2k. I have a problem with some of my public folders when i try to look at the properties of a public folder on Exchange System Manager i receive an error with id c1038a21. I look on microsoft support and i find this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328740 I use ldp.exe to resolve the problem ... but ask me for GUID number (GUID = XXXX) i dont know what to enter. So my question is how can i find the guid number of a specific public folder? Thanks in advance nikos

If you are looking for Connection Agreement GUID then it can be found C:program filesMSADcMSADCConfig CA_YourDomainName_Your E2KServerName Folder if you went with defaults during install. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a DomainPrep fix is needed.

- Stop and restart each of the Exchange 2000 services.
- Restart the server.
- Run Exchange 2000 Setup again with the /DomainPrep switch
