 Group Policy Issue – Replication
Hello Everyone, I need some help with a Group Policy issue. We have a large network about 44k user accounts and we are a native 2003 domain level with 4 domain controller (2003) and one 2008 domain controller. The PDC - Emulator is a 2003 unit. Here's our issue; when I develop a new Group Policy on the 2003 PDC sever at a specified OU level not all of the policy settings are defined in the other domain controllers. For example, my policy is to create a network shared path so I'm going into the map out a drive, which I'm going into "User Config/Windows Settings/Drive Maps". I set the setting and all looks fine however when I go to the other domain controllers and look into this policy settingsĀ I receive a error message of "An unknown error occurred while data was gathered for this extension. Details; Could not find a part of the path \ServernameSysVolDomain.namePolicies{AC230D3E-E451-42A897A1-EC59F49484A0}UserPrefereneceDrivesdrives.xml". Please advise any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Note I have notice this type of message also when I attempt to perform a back up on some of policies.
