Great Plains 8 ODBC Error (45)

Great Plains, Database, ODBC, SQL Server errors

This just started today, Great Plains has been working for a good time now. I get first error message when logging on " A get/change first operation on table 'tablename' (45)." And then when you click on More Info... it says "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Database'Databasename' is already open and can only have one user at a time."

I don't know where to look to fix this I've searched google and tried their help booklet that came with Great Plains. Thanks for any replies.

Answering my own question, but

Called M$ support and this is the solution

Log into the SQL server, go to Enterprise Manger,

Find the database associated 'Databasename' > Right click on it > Click on Properties

Once Properties is open click on the Options Tab

From the Options tab, Uncheck the Restrict Access, click apply and click Ok.

Done
