Grant “Read Only” access on a shared mailbox with Exchange Management Shell
I want to prevent several specific users from being able to delete messages in a shared mailbox. I wish these users to be set to "Read Only" permissions. Can I do this from the Exchange Management Shell? And if so, would someone mind posting an example or leaving a suggestion? Thanks a lot. Moderator Note: This is a submitted question

Answer Wiki:
In AD Users and Computers, Open the properties for the mailbox user. Click on Exchange advanced. Click on Mailbox Rights. Make sure those users do not have Full Mailbox access, Change permissions, take ownership, delete mailbox storage permissions. You might want to look into setting up a public folder share. ************* Exchange 2007 mailbox permissions are not set in AD Users and computers. You are right in asking for a shell command instead. I'll see if I can find one. ***************** how to do it in exchange 2007 ?
