GPO to stop users from changing system clock on their workstations.


GPO, Group Policy, Domain management, Windows administration

I want to stop users from having the ability to change the system clocks on their workstations thru a GPO and only allow admins to do it.

Go to the GPO you created or will create for it and change the following setting:

Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment

"Change the system time" Setting

Enable it and set it so only admins and change the time.
