I have a question about gpo's I cannot find in my book. when a gpo is applied to a domain, it does NOT filter down to its child domains. it must be applied to the child domains also. my question is about gpo's applied to sites. does a gpo applied to a site filter down to all domains within the site? (assuming there are no block policy inheritence or no override options applied) or, it this like a gpo applied to a domain, does not filter down to lower child domains. thank you in advance for your help, todd

Correct, if a GPO is attached to a site, it will effect all computers / users who are in that site no matter which domain they are in.
