This is more of a general question but I need information ASAP. I usually work in Google Chrome and it's reporting a website that I usually go on as 'not secure'. In Chrome, can I find a more detailed explanation? Basically, I want to know why it's being reported as not secure. Appreciate the help.

Not being secure can be due to a number of things. Is this an HTTPS site? Also some sites know for containing problems will show as not secure. This is for like site that offer mods for games or torrent file sharing sites.

This is happening for only one or more than one. In that case, you can check the system date/time and make sure that the system date/time is up to date.

Could be due to the protocol, HTTP: vs. HTTPS:. Could be expired cert. Could be a misconfigured device date/time. Could be other...?

In general, it means that a site that is expected to be accessed through a secure protocol is instead dropping back to unsecured. As for why, it might be a problem on the client or on the server. We can't tell without at least knowing the site address.

Depending on your security settings on the device/OS/Browser and Google's intelligence mechanism it manages automatically.

Also check the same on another browser like FF/ IE and see what happens.

Is this message from the browser or an anti virus program you may be running? There are too many unknowns so we are all giving our best guess to a few of the possibilities. If it still persists, come back with more details.
