Gigabit ethernet card only showing speed option of 10MB and 100MB in driver properties
I am running Windows 7 on a Shuttle SN26p w/nforce4 and I am not getting gigabit speed out of my on board ethernet. Gigabit ethernet card only showing speed option of 10MB and 100MB in driver properties. I have tried several drivers and whats funny the title in the device manager drivers stats Ethernet 10/100/1000 but when I go in to properties no dice. I have an older hp pentium4 doing the same thing with onboard ethernet. On that system I put a ethernet card in it and the driver disc that came with it work fine to show full gigabit connection. It is just both onboard ethernet that won't work. I have tried several drivers installs and even reinstalled the OS on both systems. I am at a lose I would appreciate any help.

Software/Hardware used:
Shuttle SN26p and HP/Compaq Pentium4

Answer Wiki:
Sounds like a mismatch between your NIC and Win7. Have you contacted the vendor directly?

Unforunately both systems are long out of warranty. But I think I will shoot off an email and see what they say.

Thanks.
