(I think I recall at least one 3rd-party product that can be installed, perhaps on a PC, that makes native SQL programming possible.)

I have only followed development comment threads. I don&#039;t have SQL Server available right now, so I can&#039;t test to see if it&#039;s good enough.

Once installed and configured, testing to see if it works for your needs should be very easy. Otherwise, go get MS&#039;s JDBC driver and start coding the Java.
