 Getting it all to work together – Network design
l am setting up a very basic network but still need to be reassured, my network consists of all the following which should all be used 6 computers 24 port switch 24 port pathcpanel router modem one storage rack the only pice that has put me off is the patch panel as l honestly and embarrasingly never used one. Anyway may you please explain to me how to get it all to work together. Mant thanks

Dear Patch Panel is used to terminate all the UTP cables installed for the users. You are going to install a CAT6 UTP cable from the users worksatation to the server room. All UTP cables in the server room are terminated in a patch panel.
