Our ISP has crippled out SMC residential gateway to block the port forwarding and parental controls. We can not even get to the web interface. I assume it has been flashed with a different firmware. How can I get around this and do port forwarding?

If you cannot get to the web/telnet interface how do you expect to be able to flash firmware? Some solutions, get a new modem, best buy sells them or look online if you can wait. You might want to look at switching to a different isp as well What is the isp? is this cable, dsl, something else?
