 Generate PRN file on AS/400
AS/400 printing, Host Print Transform API, PRN file, Spool files
I want to know, if there is any way to generated PRN file on AS/400 from a spool file, using Host Print Transform. I am thinking of storing rendered print jobs(PRN files) on IFS and print them later.

We've had good success by converting spool files to PDFs and saving on the IFS. Its more versitile than a PRN file. There are a number of low cost AS/400 utilities that can convert to PDF. Probably even some free ones. If you have IBM's InfoPrint Services feature, it can convert to PDF.
