Hold down our alt key and type the number 64 on your number keypad on your keyboard. @ will show up. How you use it is up to you of course.
That will work if you want the ampersand character, the copyright symbol can be displayed using the solution AndreaF provided.

Hold down Ctrl and Alt at the same time and press C Ctrl+Alt+C
Hold down Alt and type 0169 on the number pad (right hand side of your keyboard) Alt+0169
