Transfer rate 4249.970 KB/sec.

If the transfer was finished with the code "226 Transfer complete.", how can I generate a report or a file with that results like this: file TEST/FILE1 was transferred. file TEST/FILE2 was transferred. file TEST/FILE2 was transferred. Thanks for all.

You will be able to achieve this by maintaining the log in PF. When you will get the '226 Transfer Complete' you can perform the required operations(like Report Generation). Below link(Page No - 37) will help you in getting the sample code. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/info/rzaiq/rzaiq.pdf Pradeep.

how can i generate a report or a file with that results like this: Two general possibilities. First, it looks like you are already putting the FTP session output into probably a source file member. From that, you can create programming that reads the source file member and you can create the report any way you can figure out the logic. I'm pretty sure that's not a very satisfactory answer, but it's as good as it gets for the FTP application. But second, you can stop using FTP. Look into how to use Scott Klement's FTPAPI. It's a good quality utility that is written to the FTP specifications. It will do essentially everything that you want FTP to use, and the remote system won't know that you aren't using the regular AS/400 FTP client. Technically, you could also write your own FTP program just like Scott Klement did. The protocol is defined in documents on the internet. But it's a lot easier to use what's already freely available. There isn't any alternative better than those unless someone has written programming to process your source member and will give it to you. Of course, if you'll use donated programming for that, why not use donated software that replaces FTP in the first place? Tom
