 FTP to AS400 – Do AS400 writes any log?
AS/400 FTP, AS/400 logs
An external system is doing FTP to the AS400, reading a physical file. I would like to know how I can see in the AS400 this FTP operation

If you do FTP from AS400 to external system it writes log in to FTPLOG file.

Normally, you would expect to see something in QHST for connections, etc. I don’t think you will with an FTP.

I’m pretty sure you will need to use an exit point – and you’ll either need to write your own program or go with commercial software.
