 FTP Timeouts
I am using IE8 on Windows2003 server to connect to a intranet server running warFTP to do file transfers. It starts the transfer and copies a few files and timesout. Why

You should speak to your local LAN administrator. It could be there are some network issues between you and the server (such as mismatched speed/duplex settings on switch ports or NIC's). Have you tried FTP clients other than IE8? I would suggest trying another FTP client such as either the command line or <a href="http://filezilla-project.org/">FileZilla</a>.
