We have send a file to a particular location can we see the content what we have sent, since they are saying that file they received is not in correct format? (users are saying header and footer was missed, getting some error) but could see header and footer was there from our end to the file we send.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You could also try to FTP the same file to an in-house location so you can view what is received. You may also want to send it again to that same location just incase of a possible problem with the 1st transmission.

...can we see the content what we have sent,...   If they save it or zip it and send it back, you'd have a potential sample. But you already should have what you sent. The question would be whether or not you sent it correctly.   Tom

...any command to see...   You can GET the file if you have the authority. Then you can look at it on your system. But FTP doesn't have any way to show you the content on a remote site.   Tom

CharlieBrowne makes a good suggestion. If you still have the original file, just FTP it to yourself. See what arrives. If it looks good, discuss it with your business partner to see where the confusion is. -- Tom

You mention header and footer... Is this a spoolfile you are trying to send. If so, are you using any software to control the spool output like OPTIO or something else.... Maybe the destination of the FTP is not using the same output controls you maybe using.
