I have a QRY in one of the system. but, I don't have this on other system where I wanted to populate the results using the QRY that runs on system1. Thought of FTP'ing QRYDFN to other AS/400...though we have QRY object in library on system1, while FTP'g says no such file found in library xyz.. How can we FTP QRY files to other AS/400 systems?

Create a *SAVF and put all objects in the *SAVF and FTP that to the other system and restore objects from their.

A *QRYDFN object is not a *FILE object, so FTP can't handle it. FTP only does files. CharlieBrowne's savefile suggestion is a good way to go. If the systems are compatible and configured for it, you could also use SAVRSTOBJ to do it in a single step. . Tom
