FTP Pro shuts down on Windows server 2003


FTP, Windows Server 2003, Software, Special-purpose software

I just reinstalled Windows server 2003 and now WS FTP Pro shuts down every time I log into the FTP site to upload my backups. The program worked fine with windows server 2003 before the reinstall. I'm thinking some kind of security issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure that you have not installed Microsoft IIS and FTP services? I had similar behaviours with SMTP and an application that sent msgs via port 25 (and SMTP). It would randomly shut down one of the services.

Yes, I checked and I have installed IIS. I'm not real familiar with this, can I disable it without messing stuff up? If so how?
