When ftp'ing from System i to an internal network pc, what is the difference between the messages "Cannot find host", and "Cannot connect to host"?

Cannot find host - may mean that host is down or name is not valid.

Cannot connect to host - may mean that host does not have FTP services running on a standard port or running at all.
