Network Connection Problem
I get messages "Internet Explorer has stopped working", Yahoo is not responding," and "Not connected to a network". I have to turn off and restart my system, but sometimes it doesn't work for a long time. What is to be done?

    Here are some suggestions:

-Make sure your network is actually working well (it could pay trying to connect your machine to a different network, and see how it behaves).
-Install and update some good anti-malware system and run a full scan when in safe mode.

It could be a driver problem, or even a hardware problem.  Take a look at the system logs, to see if there is something there that could shed a light on the issue.

If nothing works, you might want to try reinstalling the operating system.

Maybe if you provide more details about your machine, and about the problem, someone else can offer some other suggestions.

Not sure, but this type of messages generally happen on windows 7.  However, u can try some tricks.... open control panel (u can type Internet options in search programs and files, ifmy guess is correct) > Internet options > advanced tab and click reset and again click reset. Now open IE and see if the problem again happens or not. Though very few changes r required for versions to versions.

And yes, before re-installing os/ reformat it, please take all necessary backups for safety purpose. Hopefully, u know that, "Prevention is better than cure".
