Actually there r lot more Q in respect of ur Q..... Was it developed in
fpd2.6 dos! Guessing dot matrix is connected thru lpt1 & laser
connected to usb..... If it is true, then how they r connected each
printer ! Also clarify
whether dos is the computer's main OS/ running this package in a
session in wind env!! If yes, have u ever mentioned there can take
print from dos and also clarify make and model of printer. If these queries boring u and such kind of info u don't have right now, then try the follosings:As u know dos based apps like fpd2.6 doesnt detect an usb printer one way of directing output to usb normally. Type the command as: net use lpt1 \\<urcomputer name/ip>\<printer's share name> /persistent:Yes(for testing purpose)Now open printer props, and select advance tab then select print processor and select text, and now apply the changes again at the CMD prompt type as: dir > prn this must allow print from usb printer, then again try printing from ur apps. All of these assuming the apps is running on Windows OS. U can run also on Linux thru DOSEMU.
