 Forwarding external e-mail to a different external address
Email forwarding, Exchange 2003, Exchange 2003 administration
I need to setup a company e-mail address forwarded to an external address (for outside e-mails) for short time staff. Is there a way to do it creating just a contact and not having to create both a user and a contact in Exchange 2003?

In order to enable auto-forwarding on an exchange email account you have to have a user account mailbox, yes. So you would have to create both the user mailbox and the contact.
