 Formatter board IBM/ Ricoh infoprint 1852 or Lexmark 640
infoprint 1852, Lexmark 640, Lexmark Printers
I checked all network settings and they were correct. The printer will only print from the printers menu (ie. page count, tcp/ip info) I could not ping the printer. How do I access the formatter board for replacement. I cant find a manual anywhere.

just you re-install your printer drive.. while you install the drive, it will ask you as network printer. you select the option and give the ip address…. after try to ping…..

The printers incorporated a feature that would require authentication from a microchip within the ink/toner cartridge in order to function, this was designed to prohibit users from refilling the cartridges. Yet a recent firmware update allowed Lexmark to prevent end users from refilling ink cartridges or using third party ink cartridges. Thanks.
