folder renaming/deletion

I tried to rename a mailfolder, after renaming it another mailfolder is created with the desired name and the color of the icon of the old folder become orange. I moved the subfolders to the new folder then the icon of the old folder disappeared. can anyone help me to rename the mail folder and explain to me what is happening?

Try using a different switch than the one above,/ResetFolders basically will resolve any issues regarding default delivery locations. The solution is to use /ResetFolderNames this will reset the folder names to the default ones provided by exchange. If the above does not work, then you can try using a Mapi Editor to rename the folder, but the Outlook Switch will work. I hope the below resource will guide you with sufficient information
