I've been noticing a dropoff in profile pictures lately -- here's a reminder on how to upload yours if you haven't already. If you're participating in the community, we want to know who you are!
I'll be mailing out five t-shirts to the first five people (with eligible mailing addresses) to upload profile pictures and comment in the discussion below. This giveaway is only open to first-time uploaders. To those of you with profile pics up already, don't worry; I have something in the mix for you soon. Good luck!

I’m not sure, but services like yfrog and Twitpic are great ways to send pictures from your phone to the web. You should also be able to send a picture to your e-mail address via picture message. Hopefully that works for you!
Hi Jenny – Finally got back to trying to upload a picture. Looks like it worked. Had to rebuild the image I wanted to use and resave it. The picture worked for our internal SharePoint environment and Facebook.
Stay tuned for our next contest in 2010… though you can earn 100 Knowledge Points by contributing to our specially selected questions announced periodically. We have one listed on the front page currently — check it out!
Hi Scot,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. Be sure that your image falls under the following criteria:
- .jpg, .png or .gif format
- 300 Kb or less
- Recommended size: 50×50 px.
Hope this helps!
Thanks Scot,
Jenny
Maybe publish a tip on how to get an image from my cell phone to my PC ?
Some of us are “PC challenged”.
I uploaded a picture of myself. I hope that as my knowledge of computers and networks expand I can answer more questions.
