Try this:

<pre>SELECT table_name,num_rows
FROM all_Tables
WHERE owner = ‘&user_name’;</pre>

Note that tables need to be analyzed in order to get accurate results.

Type DESCRIBE all_tables to find out what other useful information you could get from ALL_TABLES.
