Detail clarification:

Use Caps extmbr(‘MBR1′)…

Use upper-case (caps) if the name is in upper-case, which it almost certainly is. But names can use lower-case. The specification must match the case of the name.

Yes, Phil is right. He catches a lot of details like quoted values in the wrong case. The name should be ‘MBR1′ rather than ‘mbr1′. — Tom

If there is only one member you do not need the extmbr . Use Caps extmbr(“MBR1′) Check the job log for more details.

There is no EXTPF physical file with member MBR1 in a library that is available to the program. If such a file exists on the system, then either ensure that the library is available in the job or direct the program to open the file from the correct library. — Tom
