I am building a network for a client and currently he has 2 different business sharing a files-server (all under the same roof, same owner). Currently in order to separate the two out he is manually adding folder permissions for each workgroup that he has (he doesn't run a domain and this is not secure). Anyways I am setting up 4 vlans for him and would like for these vlans to be able to only have access to their files and for the owner not to have to change folder permissions for each group. Another words, I want 4 vlans with 4 separate disks. Is there a way to do this without buying 4 separate file-servers and putting them on different vlans?
