How can files be transferred frome one computer to another? Will a cable between them work as a flash drive would?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

There can be different ways to transfer data between two computers. A double “male” USB cable can be used to transfer data between two computers.
You just only need to bring the cables online, then transfer the files between the two systems. For more info, check the link: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-ways-to-transfer-files-from-one-computer-to-another/

You can setup your own network by connecting a crossover Ethernet cable between the two or leaving them both on the same network and using LapLink's PCmover.

If it isn't a large amount of data, a flash drive or Drop Box would be a quick & simple way to make the transfer. External hard drives for large amounts are also workable.
