 File Server
Am using a desktop and have 5 laptops on the network and i want them to share files on the desktop. I dont want to install any server software. How do i create my Window Vista desktop into a file server.

Answer Wiki:
Right click the Network icon on your desktop, go to properties, in there, you can turn on file sharing and then give access to the other laptops access to the desktop.

Vista is designed to support multiple users. It uses a user profile folder structure almost XP. U may use public folder which is used specifically for file sharing. OR even u can use FreeNas / Cgywin (both r totally free to use).
