Excel 2007, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office File Extensions, XLS, XLSX
after using Excel 2007 for several months with no problem, I had to reformat and reload windows xp professional. then I installed Excel 2007 and now I can't open the xlsx files created by Excel 2007. I get the error in the above title box. Any help will be welcomed. Gervis.

If you are using office XP after formatting your system then you will install file format converter which will available in windows website.Otherwise you are using office 2007 but still you are having problem means your system having affected with virus.so you may clean it

Thanks Exwindows. Actually I am using Microsoft Office Standard 2007 Student edition. It has Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. I will go to windows websight and try the file converter.
