 File backup with windows server2003
Hi! I have let's say 10 PC-s with Xp Pro connected into a LAN, and one PC with Windows Server 2003 Enterprise R2 . I'd like to know, how could I use he Server PC to make automatic backups of specific files or folders witch are on the Xp Pro PC-s, on the Server PC-s HDD. If there is any posibility of doing this, os something like it:D THANKS

Answer Wiki:
An easy way to do this is to setup Active Directory and setup roaming profiles for the users. This will force the workstations to upload the users profile to the server each time the user logs on and off the computers. Another way to do it could be using a domain policy to enable folder redirection. You can even use a combination of roaming profiles and folder redirection to reduce the total size of the roaming profiles and make the user logon and logoff process more efficient in terms of time for the end user.
