I am upgrading my firm’s legal software to a version that uses SQL Server 2005. We are on a Windows 2003 Small Business Server, and SQL Server was installed before I started at this firm. My new software needs me to login as the System Administrator. I cannot seem to do that, as I do not know what the password is. I have installed SQL Server Management Studio Express but I cannot seem to figure this out. I can go into each of the instances and change the SA password for each of them, but it seems that there needs to be some way to log into SQL in general. The install gets to a point and asks to log into the server and has a note that states that this is the SQL login, not the administrator login. What can I do?
