 SAP FI/CO consultant – what next?

Hi, I am an FI/CO consultant with a couple of years experience. Now I would like to get to the next level. The role of a Business Process Expert always facinated me. Originally I am from a technical background and I do not have a formal Accounting qualification. Still I am successful in my FI/CO role. Can someone suggest a good path to go ahead ?
