In over 40 years of programming there is one program that I have written over 500 times. A major handy tool for any ETL. It is a basic dump to the screen program. Where the outline for the descriptive details is printed to the screen. Then you do a screen capture of that data to a *.bmp file. On 2nd and subsequent passes this Bit Map file gets displayed then the “Mp3 meta data” details gets overlayed. The Cls command clears the screen and resets the cursor to top left so the next mp3 details can be easily seen.

I claim that this is the 2nd bestest program on the planet for it’s simplicity and wide usefulness. I did a great number of cable system and telephone system billing conversions. ETL needs simple dump programs. The quicker you look at the incomming data the better.

The Best program on the planet is of course my Desktop Search.

I'd nominate Pjb0222. He provided some great feedback when I asked about logging into the VPN for updates. He seems to have extensive experience and is pretty consistent around the site.

*Raises Hand* I'd nominate Rechil for a featured Member spot - He's Quick on the DB/Server level questions, is consistantly a "top answerer" - at least for the 2 months I've been here - and provides definitive and usefull links to how-to's for question askers...

Rechil: Seriously ? Many members get featured for much less participation. I was wondering if you were featured and you didn't even know, but did a quick search and didn't find anything. So, I second Sixball in nominating Rechil. Although I many times disagree with his answers/comments, I must admit that, as Sixball pointed out, he is a top answerer and I'm sure he devotes a considerable amount of time participating here and searching the web for resources that could help people with their questions/problems.

@Rechil Being really Cisco-centric, I'm not that experienced in or knowledgable about some of those server / application questions I see you and others tackle. That said, several of the links you've provided have been something I was able to use for our systems and clients. Thanks for your efforts...

@Carlosdl, Not all the time we disagree with each other. See here for examples.... ONE TWO This is very few..... This is a place, where we can argue / make good comments or provide answers / clues to help the other members. I like criticism (& of course take it sportingly) and want more and more interactions that help to increase knowledge and rectify errors. Continuously, I am getting sufficient knowledge from here and hope in future. However, thanks for your valuable inputs. @Sixball, I am glad to know that, at least some of my links assist u ! This is fine and encourage me also. I hope u have to continue and help the other members also. But, I raise hand for Labnuke99 for this honorable badge. He is cool minded and his way of answer helps the members a lot. Thanks !
