Q:
FCoE investment: worth the upgrade or holding off?
Do you use mostly traditional Fibre Channel or FCoE devices in your organization, or a balance of both? What are the contributing factors? What would be the tipping point that would cause you to switch from using mostly one type over to the other?

We use traditional FC as it has lower latency, and quicker timeouts which result is quicker retries.

If we needed to send FC data from one CoLo to another we'd switch to FCoE, within the CoLo we'll keep to the native FC.
