Hello Gurus,
For a customer we have decided upon a SAN solution with one AMS 2100, and two Brocade 5120 switches, each in 2 sites 200 miles apart; and opted for FC for front end connectivity to servers (T3, M5000, C7000). The plan is to make use of iSCSI for remote replication (Truecopy Async).
I am aware this is not the best solution as performance could potentially be an issue going forward, but the setup being smallish and replication data size < 1 GB with RPO 1 day it is estimated to be worth it (commercially). Link available is a 10 Mb/s wan.
I would like to know what are the pros and cons of this solution. Any DOs and DONOTs, other suggestions around this will be help.
Thanks,
Amit

Thanks for your response Mrdenny. I am doing a bit of research on iSCSI as not used it before. Any good URL, whitepaper you know on this?
