another solution is papirus, which also let you convert the spools to desined papers (with word templates) and then send it as fax by a field on the spool which contains the fax number. http://www.papirus400.com/

		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m not aware of any free solutions on the AS400.  You could look at Hylafax (www.hylafax.org) which could be run on a recycled workstation running LINUX.  The AS400 job could ftp the text file to the linux box which would pick it up and send it out via fax.  You could also set it up so that you ftp to a staging directory, convert it to pdf, then move it to the fax queue directories.

That would also give you a faxing solution you could also use from user desktops, too.
