If you're looking for a third-party solution, I'd suggest you at least consider looking at what Omtool has to offer. We've been using Fax Sr. for years with no appreciable issues.

I had experience using VSI-Fax for Domino before but that is for R5. I found it is easy to use but the problem for it is the first time setup is timely and its address book cannot sync with the main address book.
I know that VSI-Fax is discontinued and the new version is Esker Fax for Notes. I saw a demo a week ago and it looks good for me. You can get a evaluation CD from the URL http://www.esker.com/fax_server_solutions/solutions-notes.asp
Just give it a try.
We have used RightFax for a number of years successfully and with little problem. The solution will cope with incoming as well as outgoing faxes with the appropriate hardware. It requires a dedicated Server running a Notes Client. In the UK we used Kommunicate to install the system as it appears it is ‘complicated’ to install (acording to the supplier – fine source of income at #1K/day) May be a little ‘over the top’ for your requirements but if you are a large corporate then it is worth considering. Here’s Kommunicate’s web site
Thank for your information ! Moreover, are you using the Gammalink fax card ? In our existing fax server (FxD), the card often “No Answer”. So, I have to restart the Fax task to solve it. Any one encounterred this problem ?
Your help would be appreciated. Thanks !
